Print What You Need, When You Need It, From Nairobi CBD

Digital printing sends your artwork straight from file to press. There are no plates to make and no lengthy make-ready, so a job that would be uneconomical on an offset press becomes affordable at 100 copies, and a rush job that lands at 9am can leave our Keekorok Road hub the same afternoon.

That makes it the right process for the work Kenyan businesses reprint most often: business cards for a new hire, a hundred company profiles for a tender submission, flyers for a weekend activation, or a fresh box of receipt books before the month closes.

  • File to press, no plates. Artwork goes directly to the press, which removes setup costs and the minimum quantities that come with them.
  • Colour managed output. Calibrated profiles hold your brand blues and reds consistent from the first sheet to the last.
  • Reprints stay identical. We keep your approved file and press settings on record, so next quarter's run matches this one.

Why Choose Digital Printing

Four Reasons Kenyan Businesses Choose Digital

Digital printing carries a set of advantages that make it the default choice for most day-to-day commercial print work.

Fast Turnaround

No plate-making and no press make-ready. Approved artwork goes on press immediately, which is why express jobs can be ready within 24 hours.

Cost-Effective

No setup fees and no minimum order. For short and medium runs, digital costs far less per job than offset, so budgets stretch further.

High-Quality Results

Sharp 1200 dpi output with accurate colour and clean detail on text, logos, photography and fine reversed type.

Variable Data Printing

Personalise every copy. Print staff names on cards and badges, serial numbers on receipt books, or a different branch address on each batch, all in one run.

Corporate Print Accounts

One Print Partner for Everything Your Office Reprints

Most companies order the same items again and again: cards when someone joins, letterheads when stock runs low, profiles before a tender closes, receipt books at month end. Splitting that across different suppliers is how brand colours drift and deadlines slip.

A corporate account puts all of it in one place, with your approved artwork and press settings held on file so every reorder matches the last.

  • Reorder in one message. Send a WhatsApp with the item and quantity. No re-sending artwork and no new proofs for repeat jobs.
  • Brand kit on file. Your logos, fonts, colour values and stock choices stay locked, so output is identical across every item.
  • Procurement-ready paperwork. Formal quotations, LPO handling, ETR receipts and consolidated monthly invoicing.
  • Standing schedules. Set recurring runs for monthly stationery or quarterly reports and collect without chasing.

Why Choose Almasi Prints

A Nairobi Print Partner You Can Walk Into

Almasi Prints runs its digital presses, finishing and design studio under one roof at Sunrise Building on Keekorok Road, in the heart of Nairobi CBD. Nothing gets subcontracted out, which is why we can hold a deadline and answer for the result.

You can walk in, inspect paper stocks by hand, compare a matt against a soft-touch lamination, and approve a printed proof before the run begins. For clients outside Nairobi we handle the same process remotely and courier to all 47 counties.

The same team also produces your display banners, branded apparel and dye-sublimation printing, so a single brand file drives everything you order from us.

Questions Buyers Ask

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on turnaround, files, pricing and delivery for digital printing in Nairobi.

What is the difference between digital printing and offset printing?
Offset printing transfers ink from metal plates to a rubber blanket and then onto paper. Making those plates costs money and time, so offset only becomes economical at high volumes. Digital printing sends your file straight to the press with no plates, which removes setup costs entirely. For runs under roughly 3,000 copies, digital is almost always faster and cheaper. Above that, offset can win on unit cost, and we will tell you honestly when that point is reached.
What is the minimum order for digital printing?
There is no minimum. Because there are no plates to make, we can print a single box of 100 business cards or 50 flyers just as easily as a run of 20,000. This is the main advantage of digital over offset for Kenyan SMEs and startups managing cash flow.
How fast can you turn around a digital print job in Nairobi?
Straightforward jobs with print-ready artwork, such as business cards, flyers and letterheads, are typically ready within 24 hours. Jobs needing lamination, binding, die-cutting or numbering usually take two to three working days. Tell us your deadline when you request an estimate and we will confirm an exact collection time with your quotation.
What file format should I send for printing?
Print-ready PDF is best, set in CMYK at 300 dpi with 3mm bleed and fonts embedded or outlined. We also accept AI, EPS, PSD, CDR and high-resolution JPEG or PNG files. If your file needs fixing, our studio corrects bleed, resolution and colour setup before proofing. No artwork at all? Our design team can create it from your logo and content.
Will the printed colours match my brand exactly?
We work to calibrated colour profiles and can match to your Pantone references. Digital presses reproduce most brand colours very closely, though a small number of Pantone spot colours sit outside the CMYK range achievable digitally. For colour-critical work we produce a printed proof for your approval before the full run, and we keep your approved settings on file so reprints match.
What is variable data printing and when would I use it?
Variable data printing changes specific elements on each copy within a single run. Common uses in Kenya include business cards printed with each staff member's name and title, delegate badges personalised for every attendee, receipt and invoice books with sequential numbering, and asset tags with unique codes. Send us a clean spreadsheet of the variable fields and we merge it into the layout.
Do you deliver outside Nairobi?
Yes. Our production hub is at Sunrise Building, 2nd Floor, Keekorok Road in Nairobi CBD, and we dispatch by courier to Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Thika, Nyeri, Kakamega and every other county in Kenya. Jobs are shrink-wrapped in labelled batches, so multi-branch orders arrive already split by destination.
Can you handle procurement paperwork such as LPOs and ETR receipts?
Yes. We issue formal quotations for tender and budget approval, accept Local Purchase Orders, and provide ETR receipts and proper tax invoices. Corporate account holders can also consolidate multiple jobs into one monthly invoice. Reach our corporate desk at sales@almasiprints.co.ke or 0720 457 298.
Do you offer design services if I have no artwork?
Yes. Our in-house studio designs business cards, brochures, company profiles, flyers and full stationery sets from scratch. Share your logo, your content and any brand guidelines you have, and we will produce concepts for approval before moving to print. If you already have a design that is not print-ready, we fix it as part of the job.
